Discover the Nokomis beaches on Casey Key

Just north of Venice on the narrow island of Casey Key, you will find the two Nokomis Beaches: North Jetty and Nokomis Beach.

North Jetty

At the southern end of Casey Key is North Jetty Park, which provides access to the beach and to North Jetty, a rock jetty that protrudes a few hundred feet into the gulf. North Jetty is directly apposite South Jetty, with a boat channel. The channel is narrow and subject to strong currents, but the "outside" of the jetty is calm - a perfect spot for snorkeling, swimming or fishing.

If you head north on Casey Key Rd, you won't find any beach access, but the island (and the road) becomes even narrower and is lined with beautiful homes and condos with manicured landscaping.
